Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students in a collaborative, school-based environment for the 20262027 academic year. This full-time contract role allows you to make a difference by providing evaluation, intervention, and support services to students facing communication challenges that impact their educational success.
In this position, youll work closely with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to empower students to achieve their communication and academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and assessments for students with identified needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services based on student requirements
- Maintain complete documentation, progress notes, and records for compliance
- Attend IEP meetings and actively participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with educators, psychologists, occupational therapists, and families to support student outcomes
- Offer consultation and recommendations to enhance student success in classroom settings
- Track student progress, modifying intervention strategies as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Georgia SLP license and educator certification as required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferredCF candidates are also welcome to apply
- Previous school-based experience valued; those with pediatric backgrounds encouraged
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
