Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to fostering communication and learning for K-12 students. Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current California SLP license or California CTC credential
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and seasoned SLPs
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-based populations
  • Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to K-12 students, diagnosing and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Conduct assessments, write comprehensive reports, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Partner closely with educators, counselors, and families to ensure success and carryover of skills into the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and school regulations
  • Participate actively in professional development and school or district meetings

This contract, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) spans the 2025-2026 school year and provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference while experiencing the beautiful Central Coast.
