This part-time SLP opportunity is available for a leave coverage contract from October through mid-December 2025, supporting a K-12 school environment in Atascadero, CA. The position serves students from Pre-K through 12th grade, providing a dynamic and rewarding caseload across a range of disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, direct therapy sessions, and provide indirect services
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Deliver services aligned with students individualized educational plans
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license or California CTC certification required
- Experience working in school settings providing speech-language pathology services
- Skilled in pediatric speech-language pathology across diverse disabilities
- Ability to manage a part-time caseload with strong organizational skills
- Commitment to on-site work and active participation in school activities
Location and Schedule:
- Based in Atascadero, CA (San Luis Obispo County)
- Part-time schedule, approximately 21 hours per week, spread over 3 days
- Contract duration covers MAT leave from October to mid-December 2025, concluding at winter break
