Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid California SLP license or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification to provide on-site services in a school setting. This part-time contract position focuses on support for students from Pre-K through 12th grade, serving a diverse range of disabilities.

Location: San Luis Obispo, CA
Duration: Maternity leave coverage from October through mid-December 2025 (ending at winter break)
Hours: 21 hours per week (approximately 3 days)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Attend and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Deliver direct therapeutic services tailored to student needs
  • Provide indirect services including consults and collaboration with educators and families
  • Manage caseload documentation and reporting

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California SLP license or California CTC credential is required
  • Experience working within school settings with students across the Pre-K to 12 spectrum
  • Ability to provide services that align with IEP goals and compliance standards
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with multidisciplinary teams and families
