School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Asheboro, NC

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based opportunity in Asheboro, North Carolina, for the remainder of the 20262027 school year.

This is a great opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about helping students develop their communication skills and succeed academically in a supportive educational environment.

Position Details

• Location: Asheboro, NC

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: May 28, 2027

• Schedule: MondayFriday

• Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

• Setting: On-site, school-based position

• Grade Levels: Kindergarten6th or Kindergarten8th grade

• Caseload: Approximately 3040 students

• School Assignment: Expected to work primarily on one campus consisting of four buildings

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs.

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals.

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other related service providers.

• Participate in IEP meetings and monitor student progress.

• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required Medicaid-related paperwork.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required.

• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number required for Medicaid billing.

• Previous school-based speech therapy experience preferred.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively with elementary and middle school students.
