As an experienced SLP with CCC credentials, youll be part of a collaborative environment where your expertise will empower children to reach their fullest potential. This position focuses on an elementary caseload, providing assessment, intervention, and advocacy for students with a variety of communication needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current SLP license is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in working with elementary-aged children
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and interventions to elementary students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining thorough and accurate records
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and student support teams
- Provide guidance and resources for staff and families regarding communication disorders
