Step into a dynamic part-time opportunity serving students in the Denver area as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract role is tailored for licensed SLP professionals passionate about making a difference in a school-based setting. Youll work onsite two full days each week, supporting a mild to moderate caseload at a single campus, Vega Collegiate Academy, through the end of May 2027.
What Were Seeking:
- Masters degree from an accredited college or university in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification
- Current Colorado SLP licensemay include:
- Speech-Language Pathologist (birth21 years)
- Speech Connectionist (birth21 years)
- Speech Therapist (birth21 years)
- Experience with school-aged populations and mild-moderate communication needs
- Ability to complete all required background check and fingerprint clearance
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working onsite (no remote/teletherapy positions available for this role)
What Youll Do:
- Provide direct assessment and intervention services to students with mild to moderate speech and language challenges
- Maintain clear documentation of student progress, IEPs, and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to ensure each students success
- Advocate for student needs and help foster an inclusive educational environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development, as needed
