Step into an impactful contract position supporting preschoolers in an intensive classroom setting. This role requires an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or a strong Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) with familiarity in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for early childhood populations. As the sole SLP onsite, youll serve Riverdale Elementarys early learners, collaborating with educators and potentially supervising SLPAs.
Your expertise with IEP development, assessment and managing service delivery will be essential. Preference is given to those with ELL training or a background in linguistically diverse education, enabling you to better serve a dynamic and diverse group of students.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Colorado SLP licensure and Colorado Department of Education certification
- SLP-CCC preferred; outstanding Clinical Fellows considered
- Prior work in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Understanding of IEP creation and ongoing progress monitoring
- Strength in assessments, targeted service delivery, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
- ELL or Linguistically Diverse Education Endorsement is a strong plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to preschool-aged students
- Conduct and interpret assessments, manage service delivery, and document student progress
- Ensure individualized goals are met by tracking data and collaborating on IEP teams
- Support and potentially supervise SLPAs as needed
- Deliver culturally responsive and inclusive therapy, especially to ELL students
