A full-time contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students with mild to severe needs in a school setting in Arvada, CO. This role involves working primarily with elementary and high school students, addressing a diverse caseload that requires a compassionate and adaptable professional.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering evaluation and therapy services to students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy plans accordingly
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation per district and state guidelines
Qualifications desired:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification in Speech-Language Pathology (active and current)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with mild to severe cases within a school setting
- Ability to manage a caseload that includes both elementary and high school students
- Candidates onsite in Arvada are preferred; consideration may be given to qualified professionals open to travel; Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship (CF) year are not eligible for this position
