A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Arvada, CO, for a full-time, onsite role within a vibrant school district in the Denver area. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through May 21, 2026, with a high likelihood of renewal for the 2026-2027 school year, providing a strong pathway to establish a lasting partnership within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services primarily to elementary-aged students.
- Manage a caseload averaging 35 students, with possible variation between 25 and 45.
- Participate in district professional development days, with attendance and billing allowed.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals.
- Ensure compliance with district policies and maintain necessary documentation.
- Work onsite Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification.
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Completion of district-required background check and fingerprinting.
- Ability to work onsite; virtual or remote work is not permitted.
- Experience working with elementary-age children preferred.
