This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in a K-8 school setting in Arvada, CO. This contract position offers 20 hours per week onsite from ASAP through the end of the school year, supporting students with diverse communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Special Education Teachers to develop daily schedules, coordinate testing, and plan annual IEP meetings.
- Maintain up-to-date speech and language caseload lists to support accurate Special Education roster management.
- Deliver specially designed instruction tailored to individual student communication goals through resource room, inclusion, or pullout services.
- Work closely with school staff and families to monitor student progress and ensure IEP objectives are effectively met.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state.
- Experience working with at-risk or special education students is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
