Step into a rewarding role supporting K-8 students as a Speech Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and lasts through the end of the school year, offering 32 onsite hours each week in a vibrant educational environment near Arvada, CO. Your expertise will be critical to helping students succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Special Education Teacher to design daily schedules, organize student testing, and coordinate annual IEP meetings.
- Update and maintain accurate speech and language caseload lists for alignment with the master Special Education roster.
- Deliver customized speech and language instruction in various settings, including resource rooms, inclusion, or pullout services, tailored to each students needs.
- Partner with instructional staff and families to support IEP goal attainment and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience with at-risk or special education student populations is preferred.
- CCC, CFY, pediatrics, and school-based SLP skills are highly valued.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities.
