A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Arroyo Grande, CA, with opportunities to travel and support schools in nearby communities including Pismo Beach, Santa Maria, and Edna. This role offers the chance to work across K-12 settings, providing essential speech and language services to a diverse student population.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders to support students academic and social success. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), conduct screenings, and maintain thorough documentation of student progress.
Ideal candidates possess a valid California SLP license or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification. Experience in school-based speech-language pathology is highly valued, especially familiarity with pediatric populations and knowledge of best practices in both school and healthcare environments. Candidates who have completed their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are encouraged to apply.
