Job Description

This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity serves students in grades K-12 within a dynamic school setting located in Arroyo Grande, CA. The position is a contract role for the 2025-2026 school year, providing consistent, meaningful support across a diverse student population.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote student success
  • Maintaining detailed records and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification
  • Experience working with students in K-12 settings preferred
  • Strong background in pediatric speech-language pathology and familiarity with healthcare models a plus
  • Ability to provide services in compliance with school-based guidelines and individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

The role is based in Arroyo Grande, CA, with opportunities to serve nearby communities including Pismo Beach, Santa Maria, and Edna. This position requires full-time availability of 37.5 hours per week, aligned with the school calendar.
