Desired Background and Experience:

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational environment
• Familiarity with various speech, language, and communication disorders prevalent in pediatric populations
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students referred for speech, language, and communication concerns
• Design and deliver individualized therapy plans to address speech and language goals
• Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide consultation and guidance to teachers and families to help integrate communication strategies into daily routines
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students in both individual and group settings
• Maintain professional records and adhere to all compliance requirements
