Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current license to practice as an SLP in Texas
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship year
• Previous experience in a K-12 school setting highly valued
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Team-oriented mindset and adaptability in dynamic school environments
• Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings as needed within the school
• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with diverse speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
• Maintain clear records, progress notes, and ongoing communication with families and staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and recommend appropriate classroom modifications
• Offer consultative support to teachers and staff, equipping them to facilitate student progress
• Stay current with best practices and fulfill continuing education requirements
