Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license, or eligibility for licensure, in Texas
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations within school settings
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with educators and families
- CFY considered, but CCC-SLP preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, focusing on language, articulation, voice, and fluency disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress notes, and compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, IEP team discussions, and professional development opportunities
- Educate and provide resources for teachers and families to support student communication goals
