Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (Texas SLP License or eligibility required)
  • Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
  • Proficiency with IEP development, documentation, and progress reporting
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals and educational objectives
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Deliver both individual and small group therapy with engaging, age-appropriate strategies
  • Maintain thorough and timely records of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences as needed
  • Provide input and support for inclusion in the general education environment
