Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active Texas SLP license (ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence strongly preferred)
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Passion for making a difference in students academic and social success
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support overall student achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and compliance reports
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group formats
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-wide activities as required
