Step into a contract opportunity supporting students growth and communication skills near Arlington, TX. This full-time, school-year position welcomes energetic Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) passionate about making a difference across multiple educational settings as an itinerant professional. With a strong preference for candidates with prior schools-based experience, you'll collaborate with educators and staff to help students reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in Texas
- Previous experience in school settings is strongly desired
- Ability to adapt quickly across different campuses and grade levels
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Openness to supporting Clinical Fellows (CFs); Voco not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to a diverse student caseload, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) centered on students communication needs
- Track and document student progress, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, conferences, and consultations with educational staff and families
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Clinical Fellows, supporting emerging professionals in the field
