Job Description

This position offers the opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school environment in Arlington, Texas. The role involves working directly with students across various grade levels to support their communication needs, requiring a committed and skilled professional familiar with school-based therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Manage caseloads effectively, tailoring therapy plans to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and school staff to support students' communication goals.
  • Maintain documentation and comply with district guidelines and timelines.
  • Participate in meetings regarding student progress and educational planning.

Qualifications:

  • Active State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows must have pre-arranged supervision as the district does not provide supervision.
  • Experience in school-based SLP services, ideally covering elementary, middle, or high school settings.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time, managing caseloads at designated school locations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate services with school personnel.

Location and Caseload Details:

  • Old Settlers Elementary School: Approximately 40 students (Kindergarten to 5th grade)
  • Southridge Elementary School: Approximately 8 students (Kindergarten to 5th grade)
  • Durham Middle School: Approximately 65 students
  • Hebron High School/Hebron 9: Approximately 85 students
  • All positions require onsite presence in Arlington, TX.
