Make an impact supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric caseloads in a school setting. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to acquire
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Effective collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for preschool and K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting speech and language goals
- Deliver engaging group and individual therapy sessions, adapting strategies to student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely student records and progress notes
- Provide consultation and resources to teachers and families to promote optimal learning environments
- Participate in IEP and staff meetings, contributing expertise and advocating for student needs
- Stay current with best practices and maintain continuing education as required by licensure
