Job Description

You will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in a diverse student population. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact by providing vital services to both English and Spanish-speaking students, ensuring everyone receives the support they need to succeed.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois SLP License required
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Previous experience with school-aged children appreciated
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to K-12 students in an onsite school setting
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student progress
  • Accurately maintain documentation and student records as required
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
