Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position offers a rewarding chance to provide specialized services to students in need, covering maternity leaves in Lackawanna County and later supporting itinerant students in the Dunmore area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students across grades K-12.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
  • Provide direct therapy and support to itinerant students as assigned.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based settings serving children from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Ability to obtain and complete all necessary Pennsylvania clearances prior to employment.
  • Reliable transportation to onsite work locations.
  • Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the selection process.

Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time, 35 hours per week, with consideration for qualified part-time candidates.
  • Position starts ASAP and continues through August 7, 2026.
  • Onsite work with no telepractice (VOCO) option.
  • Service delivery within Lackawanna County followed by itinerant assignments in the Dunmore area.
