A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) located in Appleton, WI, offering a rewarding role working with an elementary caseload. This position entails 37.5 hours per week in a school setting, with travel involved to enhance professional experience and impact.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid Wisconsin SLP License
- Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) License
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Credentials such as SLP - CCC or SLP - CFY may be beneficial
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language impairments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
