Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Apple Valley, CA. This contract position covers the current school year with an immediate start and offers the chance to work on-site, providing direct support to students from preschool through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support student progress.
  • Serve students with mild to moderate disabilities across a broad age range.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification.
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly K-12.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
  • Familiarity with pediatric and healthcare speech-language pathology.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Location:

  • On-site position based in Apple Valley, CA, with potential consideration for candidates in nearby areas such as Chino and Corona, CA.

Additional Information:

  • Caseload details are forthcoming, with typical responsibilities including evaluations, IEP development, and therapy.
  • Interviews will be conducted with the director and scheduled promptly.
  • The position offers a full-time schedule ranging between 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week.
