Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive services within a school setting in Apple Valley, CA. This on-site position replaces current virtual SLPs and serves students from PreK through 12th grade in a contract role. The caseload will involve mild to moderate disabilities with responsibilities centered around IEP development, evaluations, and both direct and indirect therapy services. Specific caseload details will be shared upon hire.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- California SLP License or California CTC credential required
- Experience working in school environments, preferably with pediatric populations
- Ability to conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and provide direct and indirect therapy
- Strong communication skills and collaboration with educators and families
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
Location:
- Position based in Apple Valley, CA
- Additional postings available in Chino, CA and Corona, CA to support district needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students ranging from PreK to high school
- Develop and implement appropriate IEP goals and service plans tailored to mild to moderate disabilities
- Deliver direct speech therapy and collaborate with team members to provide indirect support
- Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
