Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid state licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children in a school environment is highly desired.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a multidisciplinary team and adapt to diverse student needs.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on students' IEPs.
  • Deliver direct therapy services, adapting techniques to a variety of learning styles and challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other support staff to track progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input regarding speech and language development.
  • Offer guidance and resources to staff and parents for supporting communication skills in the classroom and at home.
