Job Description
Step into a pivotal role supporting school communities by providing speech-language pathology services on a full-time, contract basis for the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity serves multiple campuses in the area and provides the chance to make a lasting difference for students. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a standard schedule of 37.5 hours per week (8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break).
Pending district budget approval, official vacancies and interviews are expected to be confirmed by mid-Junewith a strong likelihood that candidate interviews will take place the following week. Flexibility in caseload and school assignments ensures each clinician can find an environment where they can thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active professional licensure required for practice in educational settings
- Strong preference for candidates with previous school-based SLP experience
- Familiarity with documentation and progress reporting practices in schools
- Comfort working collaboratively with multidisciplinary education teams
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy to a diverse range of ages (specific caseload details to be determined)
- Maintain detailed session notes and progress reports in compliance with district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure optimum student outcomes
- Participate in professional development and comply with all onboarding and credentialing requirements as directed
