Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist opportunities are available in the Apopka, FL area, serving K-12 students across multiple school settings. These contracted roles focus on supporting a diverse student population through itinerant assignments including private schools. Positions are full-time and part-time, covering elementary, middle, and high school levels. Services are delivered on-site within school environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language pathology evaluations and therapy for students K-12.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.
  • Travel between assigned campuses, including private schools in the area.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field.
  • ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
  • Valid Florida State license for Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with school-aged children (K-12).
  • Ability to manage itinerant caseloads across multiple school locations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Locations Served:

  • Public schools in the Oviedo and Sanford areas (including multiple elementary, middle, and high schools).
  • Private schools including Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic School, The Masters Academy, The Ecclesial School at Saint Albans, Altamonte Christian School, Orangewood Christian, and International Community School.
