Step into a vital role supporting students' communication and learning as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite, contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working with a diverse K-12 caseload. Qualifications:
- Hold a valid California SLP-CCC license (Speech Language Pathologist, Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Accepting both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and experienced SLPs
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are also invited to apply
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt to varying student needs across the K-12 spectrum
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students with communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation as required by school policies
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students success
- Offer resources and strategies for teachers to implement communication supports within the classroom
This position is full-time and onsite from August 8, 2026, through May 26, 2027.
