This assignment covers multiple maternity leaves across several elementary and middle schools, focusing exclusively on therapy. You'll have the opportunity to utilize a 3:1 service delivery model (three weeks of direct services, one week indirect), ensuring you strike a healthy balance between hands-on therapy and crucial planning or collaboration time.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Minnesota SLP license (attach license and resume when applying)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, open to strong Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- School-based SLP experience desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging onsite speech-language therapy to elementary and middle school students (therapy only; evaluations handled by a separate team)
- Manage a typical ES caseload, with some students in specialized Setting III CDC programs
- Collaborate with school staff in a supportive environment
- Adapt to variable locations and caseloads depending on several maternity leaves
- Provide direct and indirect services following the 3:1 service model
