Make a daily difference supporting students' communication development by working as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract assignment. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about building communication skills and offering services within a collaborative school environment. You will engage with students in a middle school setting, ensuring their needs are met and supporting their educational progress.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Minnesota
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and provide direct therapy services for a caseload averaging .5 FTE (approximately 18 hours per week)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development as required
