Desired Skills & Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Alabama
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, Clinical Fellows considered
• Experience providing assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering direct and indirect services in school settings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and adjust to the varying needs of students
• Proficient in documentation and comfortable with technology platforms for recordkeeping

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in need
• Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans based on students unique needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, session notes, and required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student outcomes
• Provide therapy in both individual and group settings
• Offer consultative support and resources to teachers and staff
• Stay current with best practices and contribute to a positive school culture
