Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Team-oriented mindset and a passion for student advocacy
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each childs needs
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students learning and communication goals
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and provide regular updates on student performance
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to interdisciplinary teams
- Advocate for students access to necessary resources and support within the educational environment
