Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Team-oriented mindset and a passion for student advocacy

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each childs needs
  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students learning and communication goals
  • Maintain accurate records, document progress, and provide regular updates on student performance
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to interdisciplinary teams
  • Advocate for students access to necessary resources and support within the educational environment
