Job Description

Step into an impactful role serving students as a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist with pediatric expertise. In this school-based contract position, you will partner with educators and families to foster communication development for children in need of specialized support. Your professional skills will help students achieve their speech and language goals in an inclusive and supportive educational environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid SLP license (Maryland or eligible for Maryland licensure)
  • Prior experience working in pediatric settings or school-based environments
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process and progress documentation
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for supporting children in their educational journey

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and parents, to maximize student success
  • Monitoring progress and updating IEPs as required
  • Providing recommendations and training for educational staff to support student needs
  • Maintaining thorough records in accordance with school policies and state regulations
  • Advocating for students and delivering services in both individual and group settings
