Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active SLP license for Michigan (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Comfort with assessment, intervention, and IEP development
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Familiarity with the needs of students in K-5 settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans targeting student goals
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Maintain required records and documentation
  • Offer strategies and support to families and staff as needed
