This full-time speech-language pathologist position is available in Ann Arbor, MI, serving elementary school students grades K-5. The role is contracted through the remainder of the school year and offers an in-person work environment with benefits. Part-time candidates may also be considered.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech-language therapy services to students in an elementary school setting
- Assessing and monitoring speech and language development in children grades K-5
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school guidelines
- Participating in meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Valid state license or certification as a speech-language pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably grades K-5
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in an educational setting
