Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid state license or eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially within school settings
- Familiarity with IEPs and ability to contribute to their development and review
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage parents, staff, and students
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively while maintaining high documentation standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each students educational goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input for IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support personnel to ensure cohesive care
- Maintain up-to-date documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Offer support and resources to teachers to foster an inclusive classroom environment
