Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting. This position centers on providing top-notch SLP services to children ages 3 to 5 in an early childhood special education program. You'll be serving students Monday through Friday, working 37.5 hours per week from late August 2026 through early June 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minnesota SLP license (must be presented with your application)
  • Strong school-based or pediatric SLP experience, particularly with early childhood (ECSE 3-5 population)
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders for early learners
  • Create targeted treatment plans and document progress while meeting the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with educators, other specialists, and families to support student goals and foster a positive learning environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide relevant evaluation and progress reports
  • Stay current on best practices and school-based SLP methodologies
