Your expertise will make a real difference as you:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and other support staff.
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with relevant stakeholders.
- Serve as a resource for school staff on strategies to support communication across classroom activities.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing insights to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and skills that will set you up for success:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred; new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of best practices for assessment and therapy in educational environments.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities.
