Exciting opportunities await for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to serve as a long-term substitute during two critical assignment windows in a dynamic school environment near Andover, MN. These assignments will span from late May to early June and again from early September through December. As a key member of the educational team, you will work full-time, Monday through Friday, supporting approximately 25 speech-only students within a total service load of about 45.
What Were Looking For:
- Active Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist license
- CCC-SLP credential preferred (may vary by district)
- Strong background in school-based speech-language pathology
- Previous experience handling IEP compliance, documentation, and therapy scheduling
- Ability to efficiently deliver direct services and conduct evaluations
- Experience with elementary and/or secondary caseloads highly valued
- Familiarity with Minnesota education regulations and requirements
- Confidence jumping into existing caseloads with minimal transition time
Responsibilities in This Role:
- Provide speech therapy and conduct evaluations for enrolled students
- Manage and implement IEP services, including documentation and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
- Maintain comprehensive, timely records and reporting
- Deliver therapy and support consistent with school protocols and student needs
