Job Description

Bring your passion for student-centered speech-language pathology to a supportive school-based setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact as you work with a diverse caseload of approximately 45-60 students at one location, near Andover, MN. School-based SLPs will enjoy a balance of direct and indirect services, including evaluations and team collaboration, within a district committed to both student growth and professional development.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a valid SLP-CCC credential
  • Experience delivering pediatric speech-language services within a school setting
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, including conducting evaluations and supporting compliance
  • Commitment to both direct therapy and consultative services
  • Adaptability and cultural responsiveness for a diverse student population
  • Familiarity with school-based caseload or workload models a plus

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy to students K-12
  • Conducting thorough assessments and collaborating with team members on IEP development
  • Maintaining detailed documentation in alignment with district and state guidelines
  • Participating in IEP meetings, team planning, and indirect service activities
  • Partnering with educational staff and families to support student progress

This role is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week at one campus, featuring flexible interview times via Zoom and the ability to start immediately upon offer. Support and training are provided on the districts IEP system, with structured indirect/admin time and a strong professional community to help you succeed.
