Youll work a flexible schedule of 35-40 hours per week, delivering hands-on therapy and support to students with diverse communication needs. Your expertise will help students develop critical speech and language skills, empowering them to succeed academically and socially.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Solid understanding of a variety of communication disorders and intervention strategies
- Dedicated to fostering inclusivity and growth in K-12 settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, individually and in groups
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor students progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Communicate results and recommendations to teachers, administrators, and families
- Contribute to a positive learning environment and support the schools mission of student development
