An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Andover, MN. This full-time, onsite position offers a contract commitment spanning the current and next school year, providing consistency and professional growth.
Position Details:
- Discipline: Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathology Assistant
- Location: Andover, MN
- Hours: Full time, 35-40 hours per week
- Caseload: Students in grades K-12
- Contract Duration: This school year and the next
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota SLP license
- Experience working professionally in school environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy to students with speech and language challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate speech-language goals into the classroom
- Document services and maintain compliance with school policies and state regulations
