Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite therapy services within a middle school setting in Blaine, MN. This position offers a chance to support students communication development in an engaging educational environment from March through early June.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students based on IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring related to speech-language needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and share professional insights

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working as an SLP in school settings
  • Ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with students, families, and educators
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Availability to work 37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, Monday through Friday

Location: This role is based onsite at Roosevelt Middle School in Blaine, Minnesota.

This position provides approximately 18 hours of therapy caseload per week (.5 FTE) and requires presence during standard school hours. The start date is March 9, 2026, concluding on June 5, 2026.
