Job Description

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or ability to obtain
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting (preferred but not required)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with children, educators, and families
  • Compassion, patience, and adaptability in supporting students with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluate students speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies
  • Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to support student success
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to address each childs unique communication needs
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school and legal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional recommendations and feedback
