Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in students lives as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist serving a dynamic elementary school setting near Anderson, IN. An immediate opening is available for a skilled SLP, preferably on-site, to support students communication and academic success in collaboration with an experienced special education team. This full-time opportunity allows you to engage directly with students and staff while managing a manageable caseload and creating positive outcomes for the school community.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license for Indiana or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to provide therapy on-site is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to an elementary school caseload of approximately 83 students
  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, and families to support student progress
  • Document services, maintain student records, and monitor ongoing development
  • Offer consultative and support services for communication needs in the educational setting
