Job Description

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from kindergarten through 8th grade during the Extended School Year (ESY). The role is contract-based and full-time, providing direct, on-site services within a school environment focused on helping children develop critical communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-8 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and review

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Experience working with K-8 student population preferred
  • Strong knowledge of evidenced-based speech and language therapy techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a school setting and manage a caseload independently

Location: This role requires the candidate to work on-site in Anderson, California.
