In this school-based travel role, youll support students across all age ranges with mild to moderate needs, contributing meaningfully to their growth while expanding your expertise.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Current and valid Alaska SLP license
- Alaska DEED (teaching) certification
- Experience delivering speech-language services to school-aged children (elementary through high school preferred)
- Ability to manage caseloads of approximately 45-60 students, depending on school programs and level
- Adaptable, enthusiastic, and ready to integrate into a close-knit team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment for a diverse student population
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Collaborate closely with educators and families to ensure student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary team discussions
