Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current California state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both children and adults
- Organized and adaptable, with a passion for supporting diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings, assessments, and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation and progress reports
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure collaborative support for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based educational planning
