Key Qualifications:

• Holds a current LSLS Cert. AVT (Listening and Spoken Language Specialist Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist)
• Licensed in your discipline (Speech-Language Pathologist, Audiologist, or Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing) as required by the state
• Experience conducting student assessments in school or educational settings
• Ability to deliver effective Auditory Verbal Therapy and document progress
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide an assessment for Auditory Verbal Therapy services to determine ongoing eligibility for support
• If the student requires continued services, deliver monthly, onsite therapy sessions (60 minutes each)
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with special education requirements and timelines
• Partner with school teams and families to maximize student outcomes and support communication goals
• Adapt therapy techniques to best support individual student needs and progress
