Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in an elementary school setting, offering a part-time contract position for the current school year. This role is located in Culver City, CA, focused on delivering specialized speech and language services to support student development.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California SLP License required
  • Experience working in school environments, particularly elementary education
  • Skilled in pediatric speech-language pathology
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is an advantage

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and screenings for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Provide consultation and support for classroom strategies to enhance communication skills
