Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time onsite position offers the chance to work closely with a school community near Amherst, MA, focusing on empowering students communication and academic growth. Youll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver specialized speech and language services, making a tangible impact from August through June.
Preferred Background and Skills:
- Current, active Speech Language Pathologist license in Massachusetts (please provide a screenshot)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working in school-based settings and with diverse student populations
- Bilingual proficiency for effective communication with students and families
- Ability to pass drug screening, fingerprinting, and background/CORI check
- Reliable means of transportation and punctuality
- Strong organizational skills and professional accountability
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver tailored speech-language therapy to students
- Document progress, maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
- Implement interventions that support language development, articulation, and social communication
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student success
- Manage scheduling efficiently and communicate proactively regarding absences or scheduling conflicts
